Patsy Armbruster was born May 14, 1929 and although she has lived most of her life in Houston, for a few years she called Georgia home. During those years Patsy started a few community garden clubs. And in October of 1972, the Quail Valley Garden Club was born and brought 64 ladies together for fellowship and an education on gardening in red clay and gumbo. What Patsy Armbruster started so many years ago lives on today, blessing and benefitting our community every day and in so many ways.
This event celebrate sand pays tribute to the many men and women who served the Quail Valley Garden Club from 1972 to the present time and honors and lifts up our founder and first president, Patsy Armbruster.
