Reminders:
1) January craft workshop is Thursday, January 19th, where we will offer a Rock Painting class. Sign up with Gretchen at this week's meeting. This will be fun. Class is from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm at First United Methodist Church at the corner of Murphy Road and Lexington. Gretchen Cockerill will be on hand at our meeting on Thursday with a signup sheet, and she will be able to accept your fee of $15.00 either by cash or check, or $16.00 via credit card.
2) Bring Plants or cuttings to the meeting to swap with other members. You can also bring pots, books or other garden items. Bring your cuttings or plants you may want to donate to the swap table. Please remember to identify the plant you are donating.
QVGC COMMUNITY NEEDS COMMITTEE: Please bring any donation you may have to the QVGC regular meetings. This new committee will be responsible for the following organizations:
FOOD BANK –Marilyne Malone will be our liaison from our own Buttered Cupboard to the East Fort Bend Human Needs. She will collect donated items from the QVGC and take to the East Fort Bend Human Needs

WOMEN’S SHELTER– Jackie Walker will be our liaison to the Women’s Shelter. She will collect things from our QVGC donations each month and take to the Women’s Shelter
