Dr. Diane Russell
Dr. Russell earned a Ph.D. in anatomy many years ago. She conducted research at the downtown medical school and taught a wide variety of subjects to medical, dental and nursing graduate students. Upon semi-retiring, she joined the Coastal Prairie Chapter of Texas Master Naturalists, serving as president for several years. In 2013 she began gardening for monarch butterflies, studying and videotaping them. She helped fund a pollinator garden in Cinco Ranch at Willow Fork Park, and loves to share butterflies and caterpillars with children where she teaches.
