Paul Wierzbecki, City Horticulturist of Missouri City
Paul will tell us about his new job as Missouri City Horticulturist and new projects.
Horticulture session follows program, Members (bring your specimens). Don't forget the Swap Table, as well as your Yearbook and Coffee Cups to promote conservation.
Arbor Day Celebration immediately follows the meeting at MacNaughton Park. Come celebrate the new trees in MacNaughton Park and see the spring colors. Paul Wierzbicki will provide insights into the beautiful mix of trees.

Program: "Watersmart Gardening" Glenn Dresner
Glenn, a Fort Bend County Master Gardener and Irrigation Specialist, will show us how to put up an irrigation system that is "lady friendly" (and men will be interested as well) using catch can to monitor water usage, and use of native plants for water conservation. He will take some of the mystery out of adapting your existing system to save money as your garden or plants zones change.
